Brixen im Thale
Brixen im Thale (800 m), which is closed to the small city of Kitzbühel and in the midst of the Kitzbüheler Alps is a very sportive and friendly village - in winter as well as in summer. Beautiful old farms, with unique flower decorations, Tyrolean cuisine and sincere customs are all signs of our still celebrated tradition, which our guests are welcome to experience. Located between grassy hills with lots of green pastures, the Brixental, with its idyllic side valleys is an ideal starting point for walking tours, biking and mountainbiking. In addition to this, Brixen im Thale is also known as the tennis village of the Alps - with its own licensed tennis academy.
In winter:
The SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser – Brixental is Austria’s largest interconnected ski area and is one of the most snow-sure and diverse winter sports regions in the Alps. Across 279 km of pistes, with more than 90 modern lifts and cable cars as well as over 70 places to stop for refreshments.Winter sporting fun is at its very best here.
In summer:
The Brixental with its south facing mountainsides is one of the prettiest and most varied walking areas in Tyrol.
The possibilities are enormous, from easy valley walks to challenging summit tours at a height of 2450m above sea level.
